Base-Channel Railing
Glass set into an aluminum base channel, with no posts or clamps, offers the clearest view, ideal for terraces and scenic balconies.
Glass Railing Systems
NAYSS offers four main types of glass railing systems—base-channel, post-mounted, stainless steel, and side-mounted—for staircases, balconies, terraces, pools, and public spaces, delivering an open, unobstructed view while meeting structural safety and code requirements.
Applications
Four mounting methods address different structural conditions and appearance needs, selectable for stairs, balconies, terraces, or pool settings.
Glass set into an aluminum base channel, with no posts or clamps, offers the clearest view, ideal for terraces and scenic balconies.
Posts serve as the primary load-bearing element, paired with handrails and glass clamps for a stable structure, ideal for staircases and long-span areas.
316 stainless steel posts and handrails paired with glass panels offer a refined look, ideal for hotels and public spaces.
The clamps are fixed to the side of the floor slab or beam, taking up no deck width, ideal for tight balconies.
Trusted Manufacturer
NAYSS is located in Foshan, Guangdong, the heart of China's aluminum industry, with 15 years of experience in the architectural and decorative building materials industry and a 10,000 ㎡ standardized production facility. Focused on the safety needs of residential, villa, hotel, and public buildings, we provide glass railing systems that are structurally reliable, easy to install, and finely finished.
Why Glass Railing
Compared with solid railings, glass railings offer clear advantages in sightlines, daylight, and sense of space, without sacrificing protective performance.
Tempered laminated glass combined with a base-channel or post load-bearing structure meets horizontal thrust and fall-protection requirements.
Concealed fixings and minimalist lines present the view in full, making the space feel more open and bright.
Aluminum and 316 stainless steel components resist corrosion, withstanding outdoor weather and high-salt coastal environments with only routine cleaning required.
Safety First
All railings use laminated tempered glass; even if a strong impact shatters the glass, the interlayer film holds the fragments firmly in place so no whole panel falls away and causes injury. The base channel and post structures are selected based on on-site load calculations and secured with chemical anchors and embedded parts, with torque and plumb checked on every unit before delivery.

Yes. We detail the drawings to on-site measured dimensions, calculate loads, and pre-fabricate the panels, so on-site work is limited to installation and fixing, reducing cutting and rework.
Installation
Base-channel railings require the channel to be cast into the structural layer or fixed with chemical anchor bolts, then leveled and grouted with locking components; side-mounted railings fasten clamps to the solid structure on the side of the floor slab. Both methods must avoid insulation layers and hollow areas, with anchoring depth and spacing calculated from the glass weight and horizontal load. After installation, torque is rechecked at every point and waterproof edging is applied.

Customer Reviews
We used the base-channel railing on our terrace—no posts blocking the view, so the ocean scenery is fantastic, and two years on it hasn't loosened at all.
The stainless steel railings for our lobby and guest room balconies are beautifully crafted—three years on a coastal project with no rust.
Our balcony was small, but switching to a side-mounted railing saved all the deck width, and the drawing and fabrication coordination was very fast.

FAQ

Made with tempered laminated glass, so if it breaks, the fragments stay bonded to the interlayer instead of falling out as a whole panel, meeting anti-fall safety requirements.
Choose base-channel mounting for maximum transparency; posts for wide spans or staircases; stainless steel for premium feel and corrosion resistance; and side-mounting when countertop width is tight.
Calculated based on railing height, span, and the floor's horizontal load, common configurations use 12+12 or 10+10 laminated glass, with the specific selection provided in the proposal.
Yes. We detail the drawings to measured dimensions and pre-fabricate the panels, so on-site installation is all that's needed, avoiding secondary cutting.
Routine care requires only wiping the glass with clean water and periodically checking the clamps and anchor points for looseness; the aluminum and stainless steel parts need no additional anti-corrosion treatment.
We support worldwide shipping and provide installation drawings, technical briefings, and remote guidance to assist with on-site installation.
